Elevate your beachside look in Sommer Swim's Lusso colourway bikini. The yellow-gold will be your go-to color for lounging poolside or soaking up the sun on the beach. Olympus and Maltese Bikinis. I feel the most confident when I wear swimwear, and as a creative the colors and styles I’m wearing are a reflection of myself. When I wear Sommer Swim, I know I look and feel my best, whether I'm lounging by the pool or taking a dip in the ocean. The styles are not only stylish and unique but also comfortable and supportive, allowing me to move with ease and embrace my body just as it is. Knowing I'm wearing swimwear that's designed to make me feel confident and empowered boosts my self-esteem and lets me fully enjoy my time in the sun.
I’m Kathryn (Kat) - I am a celebrity stylist based in Los Angeles. I started styling in 2019 full time after working in the music industry for 4 years. I’ve worked with everyone from rappers to athletes to Latin pop stars and actresses. I launched Kurated which is an umbrella for my styling work - I have a lot of goals to expand Kurated that you’ll see manifest in the next few years.
My career journey has been so fast paced. I feel like I’m still the new kid on the block in the styling world but I am as busy as ever. Recently I’ve been working non-stop, but it has been so rewarding. I feel like I am the happiest I’ve ever been in my career and personal life. I’m surrounded by really solid humans who hold me accountable to be the best version of myself.
An editorial is usually a two-week process - once I make a mood-board, I start putting together a list of potential designers to reach out to, then I email them all. Once confirmed with the designer I will make selects from their lookbook and they will either ship it to LA or my team and I will pick up. After we shoot the looks, we have to sort out and organize returns. It’s a whole process and a lot to juggle when you’re working on multiple projects but luckily I have a solid team to make it easier on me.
There are so many! I still get excited when a shoot comes out or I get to see my client on TV or walk a red carpet! I feel like the feeling will never get old, and I really hope it doesn’t! Some of my career highlights are styling Christine Quinn on two seasons of Selling Sunset, styling a Hulu show (not out yet), styling shoots for Playboy and GQ Magazine, and styling athletes for their games. Honestly, everything is a career highlight because I’m just really happy and grateful to be here.
I get so much inspiration from so many things. I really just go by what I’m feeling that day. One person who has really inspired me through all her own style evolutions is Bella Hadid - I always love what she's doing and she's constantly evolving and creating fresh looks. I think that is really important for those in the fashion space looking for recognition is to constantly be evolving your wardrobe.
I don’t shy away from colors and that definitely reflects in my work. I actually have quite different style from a lot of my clients and none of my clients really have the same style as one another. I really try to find my clients personal style and highlight that. I love sunglasses and make sure to always include them in work when I can - I think sunglasses are the most underrated accessory and really make an outfit stand out.
Invest in pieces you’ll wear more than once - for example - heels, sneakers, sunglasses, purses, jewellery. I personally invest money in jewellery and diamonds but that is just a personal preference. A lot of my friends and clients love bags but I personally am not a bag girl and will do whatever I can to not have to carry a bag.
DO intern – I know it is not ideal working for little or no pay, but 99% of the top stylists have put in the time and work. Working your way up is the only way. It’s a TON of work and you have to really love what you’re doing. Do not complain and bring your personal problems and life into the workspace.
Being a woman is…POWERFUL.
Most precious possession…my cat, Mila.
Favourite Sommer Swim style…halter bikini top and thong bikini bottom!
Creative Director of Les Petit Joueurs Mariasole Cecchi has taken the world by storm with her effervescent handbags and dazzling shoes. Since launching in 2013, the luxury accessories brand has been spotted on our favourite IT girls - Amal Clooney, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Jessica Alba, and Chiara Ferragni (to name a few). We spoke with the Italian designer about how she started the brand, finding creative inspiration, and the Sommer Swim pieces she’s obsessed with.
I come from Florence and grew up in a family of five, which represented a big influence on my career and personality. I would call myself a dreamer, endlessly curious and passionate about travelling the world, yet I built my path as a self-made designer with a powerful value for the family. Les Petits Joueurs is the full expression of who I am - it means playing with ideas, materials and colours. It’s a constant stream of freedom of expression, with a forever connection to my roots and personal experiences.
Ever since my childhood, I was surrounded by a very creative and stimulating environment, but it was when I decided to move to Paris in my early twenties, that my creative expression really took off. Les Petits Joueurs started by chance, as one day I started gluing Lego bricks on top of an old bag I owned, playing with bold pop colours on top of a simple plain item. People started stopping me in the streets and I slowly experimented with more colours, building a small idea of a collection.
A few years later I moved to Brazil which was where my designs started gaining attention, celebrities were wearing them and the press excitement was amazing. São Paulo was an incredible place, the tropical landscapes mixed with parties, nightlife, freedom and beach life were a constant stream of colour and inspiration for what LPJ is today.
I feel very connected to Florentine artisanship, with the extreme care for detail, quality of materials and constant research and creative experimentation. Research is key, and it literally comes from everywhere - books, music, travels, jewellery, vintage. The stream is endless. But when you see your idea be translated into the actual shoe or bag by the artisans, well, that’s just magic!
I love to dig into the past and do vintage scouting when it comes to inspiration, I just feel so stimulated when it comes to music and design from past times, yet I always try to add a contemporary or futuristic touch! I own a book about Henri Matisse, called “The Cut-Outs”, and it has been an incredible source of colour combinations and geometric shapes for my collections, I just love it every time!
I grew up in the fashion world, as my mom was the curator of a high-end fashion retailer. This gave me the chance to see, touch and learn the meaning of Made in Italy quality and to access the dreamiest défilés in Paris. Fashion really influenced my childhood and who I am today. When I was younger I would always dress very unconventionally, but did not care about people’s reactions. I felt people did not understand (even presenting a Lego bag was not easy at first!), but I loved the feeling of simple self-expression. Everything surrounding my brand Les Petits Joueurs is a special translation of my personal style too
My absolute favourites are the Cece Bandeau Bikini Tops! I love the dramatic golden hardware decorating the design, adding a fun touch. I have been wearing mine to romantic getaways on the Italian Coast.
In the 1970s, Capri reached the zenith of its popularity as a destination for the global elite, drawn by its magnetic beauty and exclusive appeal. The island's enchanting blend of natural beauty, from the rugged coastline to the azure sea, served as a backdrop for leisurely days and sophisticated soirées. Capri's allure was not merely a geographical phenomenon but a cultural tapestry woven by the flurry of illustrious visitors who frequented the island — leaving their indelible mark on the island's history.
Among the renowned spots that witnessed this era was the iconic La Fontelina. Perched along the rocky coastline. Today, this historic beach club stands as a testament to the enduring allure of Capri, where the echoes of an opulent past linger in every sun-soaked corner. Join the rhythm of our SS24 collection — as we dance between the simplicity of the present moment and indulgence.

My first day in Naples I was strolling along the coast and taking in the scenery. A group of very bronze men invited me to have lunch with them by motioning me to sit with them and then pouring pasta onto a plate in front of me and handing me a little cup of wine. Even when I was full of fresh pasta, they shovelled more food in my mouth and shouted “MANGIARE! MANGIARE!”(eat! eat!) Their energy was so lively and carefree. I couldn’t help but giggle with disbelief and excitement that I stumbled upon such a welcoming group of strangers, despite not speaking the same language.
I spent the rest of the day lounging in the Italian sun and soaking up the day with them. When the sun went down and we said our goodbyes, my new friends invited me to come back again the next day which I did for the next few days of my trip. My friend, Giti arrived to meet me in Naples a few days later, and I wanted to relive the experiences I’d been having on my own with her and capture their unique spirits in photos by incorporating my new friends and Giti into a photoshoot.
The way that they live their lives slowly, enjoying meals seaside communally with friends was something that truly inspired me. I especially loved the feeling of the camaraderie around meals, which I think sometimes tends to get lost in the hustle and bustle of life these days. But these classic Italian men are still doing this tradition right and have mastered the art of “dolce far niente,” the sweetness of doing nothing.
The feeling I get in Napoli is palpable charm. I’ve never experienced a culture so unique and strong in its traits. Everywhere you go someone is there to greet you into their lives with a coffee or a welcoming pat or kiss on the face, paired with a smile and a laugh.
My time with these one-of-a-kind characters was spent just enjoying the day together where words weren’t needed. This was also due to the language barrier. Any communication exchange was done by using Google Translate- which was also a little difficult because they would just yell Italian sentences at a rapid pace into my phone while simultaneously waving their hands and the translator wouldn’t be able to catch up with their thoughts. However, my most cherished moment captured through the translator was when I was saying my final goodbyes on my last day with them. One man told me “Ti porteremo nel nostro cuore” which translates to “We will carry you in our heart.” I’m still so touched by that one sentence. It’s funny to think how a few days spent with absolute strangers can become such core lifelong memories. I will remember these men fondly for the rest of my life and I will also carry them in my heart.

We chat to Mikkel about the journey of bringing Marqí to life, as he captures the beauty of Sommer Swim against the backdrop of his unique hotel.
What first comes to mind is probably the sense of aesthetics, but what sticks longer is a special feeling here even after entering the lobby the first time. There’s a sense of calm and privacy. It sort of feels like you’re at a private house with cool friends but with the service of a hotel..
The house itself is so interesting and quirky and we wanted to keep a lot of that charm but brighten it up with simple vintage design pieces from the 70s mainly. I mostly concern myself with designing it as a place I personally think is beautiful and cool, since it is also where I live. That might be what people feel set it apart.
Breakfast on the terrace overlooking palm trees and the garden with the green valley and coastline in the back is my favourite. Cocktails any time of day or night in the lobby or by the pool is a close second. It is also cool to get a ride in our vintage Mercedes to the local restaurants or beaches. And then of course if you’re lucky enough to see the secret club ’Nando’s Place' while you’re here! (Shhh) Besides, we help with classic concierge services, chauffeur services, in-room massage, mini bars etc.
Yes! In 1987, a Portuguese civil engineer by the name of Fernando Talvez - a well-connected businessman and part of the jet-set crowd, finished a four-story house of his own design in the lush hills above Praia Grande. A house to spend weekends out of Lisbon with his wife and three daughters, and entertain friends and clients around the pool, in the lobby bar, and in his basement disco ’Nando’s Place. We purchased the house in 2020 and did some renovations and room additions to make it more hotel-like.
It’s mostly a destination for leisure and seclusiveness. We help many of our guests with surf experiences, yoga lessons, and coaching at a stunning tennis court nearby. But it’s not unusual, especially on the shoulders of the season, for people to work remotely here and stay ‘in residence’.

Mauritius was a beautiful experience filled with rich culture. I’ve been to Mauritius once before, but with my family when I was younger. Doing a Mauritius trip with a talented, creative friend is a different experience altogether. I feel that we saw the whole island during our stay, we’d drive 2 hours or more just to find the perfect locations or hike through fields to stand under waterfalls, the journey was definitely worth the destination. I’d visit Mauritius again in a heartbeat.
The highlight of the whole trip was definitely the environment that Mauritius has to offer. Lush green plants wherever you looked, warm water that's so clear you could see the bottom of the ocean, and although it takes some getting used to, the temperate humid weather. Perfect Bikini weather! Perfect island girl aesthetic.
It’s so hard to pick a favourite piece when every piece was so beautifully created. But I must say my favourite thing about the new styles is the design and repetition of the gold hardware.

CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT THE LATEST ISSUE?
The cover of the latest issue was shot by my friend Dewey Nicks in the Mauritius. He was there for several weeks shooting a book project with Alicia Rountree who grew up there, so he had a lot of interesting access, and we get to see a real insider view of the island. One of my favourite stories came from the photographer Sophia Massarella, who went to Provence to meet with the founder of Domaine Tempier, and documented her bouillabaisse. All of the stories have a very personal connection—and locations range from the Dominican Republic to Bhutan to Sils Maria.
YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE FOR A SUMMER ESCAPE?
This is a very hard question! But I have to say that the Pellicano is probably my first stop…and then Mezzatorre Hotel & Thermal Spa in Ischia! The Pellicano is my absolute favorite place for a summer escape. It’s just far enough from everything that I don’t get tempted to leave the property, so I truly decompress. Days seem to last forever—from long leisurely breakfasts, to the seaside, which we never leave until sundown—ordering club sandwiches and spritzes to our loungers. The evenings are warm, filled with the scent of jasmine, the sound of laughter and the piano man, and dining al fresco.

THE LAST PLACE YOU TRAVELLED TO ON VACATION?
In early March my husband and I went to the Grenadines, to a private island called Petit St Vincent, with the most glorious water and beaches you’ve ever seen. Then we headed to Barbados, where we stayed at Cobbler’s Cove, which is probably the chicest property I’ve been to outside of the Pellicano. In fact, I was calling it Pelli West. I feel so grateful to have had this trip, because a week later we went into our home and haven’t left since.
I can’t wait to get back to Greece—we go to Patmos every year with a group of friends—it’s our favourite tradition.

Santa Teresa
One of Costa Rica's most beautiful and popular beach destinations known for it's relaxed boho vibe. Base yourself here for a few days and discover waterfalls, surf breaks, hikes and wildlife among the natural surroundings.
Playa Mal Pais
A beautiful small beach next to Santa Teresa. It doesn't get so crowded so it's a really nice place to enjoy an amazing quiet sunset. It is well known for scuba diving and snorkelling but you always have to be careful as the currents can be quite strong. The beach is surrounded by tropical vegetation and has some accommodations along the coastline, it's a more relaxed and quiet atmosphere.
Playa Hermosa Jaco
A little gem with beautiful scenery. It's a perfect stop if you arrive at San Jose Airport and don't want to stay a night at the city as it's only 2h away from the capital. The black sand and the amazing scenery make it a really special place. It's normally quiet and you can find amazing lodgings just next to the beach with an amazing sea view. There are also some natural parks close to it where you can see a big variety of animals.
Playa Avellana
Located close to Tamarindo, is a small paradise where you can find golden sand and crystal blue waters which make it a dream spot. There are a few restaurants where you can enjoy good food and some hotels but not much more, it's really quiet and the perfect place to relax.
From tropical sojourns to sun-drenched landscapes, A-listers are providing an abundance of inspiration for our swimwear wardrobe this summer. Iconic supermodel Alessandro Ambrosio, fashion model Vittoria Ceretti, and Italian photographer Nima Benati, among others, have been spotted wearing styles from the Arabesque Summer '23 collection. Below, we round up our favourite Seen in Sommer moments so far this year.

A name that needs no introduction. Brazilian bombshell Alessandra flaunts the Kaia triangle bikini top & Milla tie-side bikini bottom in ‘Siren’ while on vacation in Mexico. The Victoria’s Secret model paired the bikini with a rust coloured sarong and sunglasses. The perfect island attire in our opinion.

Due to popular demand we brought back the Cece bandeau bikini top in new season colours. The vintage gold ring detailing pairs perfectly with the minimalistic Gigi bottom, which features the same gold ring detailing on one side. German model Lorena Rae wears this set in our new Rococo print while taking a tropical sojourn.
Italian fashion model Vittoria sports the minimalistic Juliet bralette top and flirtatious tie-side Freya bottom. Finishing her oceanside look with this season’s hottest sunglass trend, a pair of boxy wrap around speed dealers.

The right bikini will have you looking and feeling flawless. At Sommer Swim we are committed to designing unique styles in flattering silhouettes that celebrate your body and coax out the sensual side of all who wear them. If you’ve got a large bust, then you will know all too well the difficulty that can come with finding the perfect bikini top. We’ve pulled together three of our most popular bikini tops for large busts that prove you don’t have to sacrifice style for support.
This particular style can offer a stunning shape and lift for fuller busts. The sculpted cups create a flattering fit and offer the same support as your favourite bra. The SORIYA balconette bikini top features strategically placed seams & pleat detailing, as well as thick wide-set straps for structure and support.
This season’s lean towards sports-luxe fits and 90s swimwear trends is the perfect opportunity for us to offer a supportive style without foregoing sexy. The BEA bralette bikini top is an athletic silhouette met with intricate detail. Designed with double-stitched seams for reinforced support, medium to full coverage, side darts for a beautiful shape, and a subtle scoop neck for a retro feel.
If noticeable cleavage is more your style, then opt for a top with adjustable features like the KAIA triangle bikini top. Double lined in our luxurious buttery Xtra Life Italian Lycra, this halter neck design is a recurring bestseller and it’s easy to see why. The triangle cups feature a tear drop design with an adjustable ruching at the base, allowing you to determine how much or little coverage you’d like. Finished with an adjustable back and halter neck tie that allows you to customise your fit.
Bikinis with wider straps offer more support and structure than skimpy string styles, and are often adjustable for a truly bespoke fit. We love that the addition of wide straps will let you experiment with the entire spectrum of swim styles without sacrificing the support you want.
These seemingly small design elements can have a major impact on the way a bikini top fits and feels on bigger boobs. A bikini top with strategically-placed seams, darts or panelling can transform a swimsuit from flat to truly flattering, all while staying super subtle.
A well-made swimsuit can make a world of difference to how you look and feel. Details like double-stitched seams and thicker bind will keep your girls supported while ensuring the bikini retains its shape for seasons to come.
Finding the perfect bikini top for a small bust can be a difficult and sometimes uninspiring task for those dealt the small hand. One thing you shouldn’t forget is that a small bust can actually be a big asset. You’re able to wear minimal styles without feeling over-exposed, underwire, and thick straps for support don’t even come to mind when filtering styles to suit your shape. To help you embrace what you’ve already got, we’ve pulled together our four best bikini tops that are considered small chest friendly from our design team and customers.
Our ultra minimalistic JULIET bralette bikini top gives a slight lift and contours the bust with its triangle design. Mimicking the style of a 90’s Kate Moss era bralette, the Juliet Top is both chic and practical for small busts.
We’ve designed the RYLEE balconette bikini top with sculpted underwire cups which sit lower on the breast and provide a lift, distinctive pleat detailing at the front and sides, and adjustable straps that can be removed for a second bandeau look.
Sommer Swim sisters Kat and Yianna Velos exude summer-inducing style and vivacious energy. Their colour-soaked IG feed caught our eye, as did their alluring Golden Groves brand. Offering 100% Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and premium grade River Beluga Caviar. Discover the duo’s insider guide to the idyllic Mani Peninsula in Southern Greece, the summer trends they can’t get enough of, and where their Sommer Swim takes them..
We are Kat and Yianna Velos, the co-founders of Golden Groves which is an Australian lifestyle brand with Greek roots. We started importing our family’s olive oil from the south of Greece in order to share the philosophy behind Golden Groves, which is quite simply put, the art of living well.
The Mani Peninsula is not a holiday destination known to most travellers who frequent Greece. Located in a quiet peninsula in the southern Peloponnese region, its sprawling mountains and immaculate beaches often fool people into believing that Mani is an island, rather than attached to the mainland.
A two-hour drive from the capital, Mani is a haven away from the hustle and heat of Athens. A famed region within Greece, Mani is known for her rugged terrain and traditional stone-clad houses perched high atop the mountains with views overlooking the impossibly azure Mediterranean.
The lifestyle in Mani is of supreme contentment - it’s beautiful to simply exist here and not chase the next beach bar or villa party. Quiet fishing boats bob in the harbour of most seaside villages, and locals mill about their local coffee shops, cigarettes pressed between their lips, prayer beads in hand and coffees firmly standing on the table. An old-world charm captures your heart as you navigate through many of the tiny villages secretly tucked away behind endless olive groves. Freshly caught octopus hangs to dry outside many of the local fish taverns, fulfilling a nostalgia to experience the authenticity of Greece outside the better-known islands.
Life is slow-paced here, so much so that each sunrise and sunset blends into the next in a way that makes you feel as if life is one endless summer. The local Maniot people are kindhearted and generous, and love to welcome people into their taverns and homes and to hear about life far from their idyllic paradise.
Mani is the ultimate beach hopping destination and so many secluded beaches are accessible by car. Every year we embark on what we call “The round Trip of Mani” where we explore each and every beach we come across on our drive through the olive tree-lined mountains. Some we have visited many times and some we continue to uncover year on year. Our favourite beaches are Skoutari Beach, Alipa and Limeni.
In Ancient Greek mythology, Mani was fabled to be the entrance to the underworld and the home of Hades. You can visit this mythological entrance and see ancient mosaics by travelling to Tenaron, a secluded part of Mani with crystal clear waters.
The Mani Peninsula is known for its characteristic stone buildings and olive trees that overlook the Mediterranean Sea. We love to stay in traditional hotels in smaller towns and villages in the area. We recommend staying at “100 Rizes Seaside Resort” which is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The hotel is located in our favourite town of the region, Skoutari, and has its own private beach area for moments of privacy and relaxation. Other notable places to stay in the region which we love are Salvia in Kardamyli and Kyrimai Hotel in Gerolimenas.
You will struggle to not have a meal in Mani that blows your mind. Greek tavern food is centred around fresh, local produce and the catch of the day. We love eating seafood at seaside taverns. Our favourite tavern is Kalamakia Taverna in Skoutari Beach. Be sure to order the “kolokithokeftedes” which are Greek feta and zucchini fritters. They are our absolute favourite dish on the menu!
Some of our other favourite restaurants in the area include O Takis in Limeni and Fish Tavern Katsikaros “Agia Varvara” in Skoutari.
We have both been living in our Sommer Swim bikinis whilst vacationing in Mani. We love to accessorise our swim with printed Sommer Swim sarongs, platform sandals, sunglasses and a colourful crotchet beach bag. We have been elevating our beach look with gold and shell-embellished jewellery to add that extra effortless but stylish touch.
This year is the summer of bright, block-coloured swimwear, patterned sarongs, crotchet beach bags, vintage sunglasses and platform sandals. Our favourite trend of the season is definitely platform sandals. We are seeing flat-form sandals, wedged flip-flops and platform crocs all over Europe. They’re the perfect footwear to take you from the beach to the club. We’ve been wearing platform crocs whilst walking on the cobblestone streets of the Cyclades and changing to flat-form sandals when we hit the beach bars in Mykonos.
A Greek summer is not complete without a colourful pair of bikinis. We are drawn to light and bright colours, as they bring out our bronzed, sun-kissed skin. Our favourite pieces from Sommer Swim’s Maison Moorea collection are the Cece Bandeau Bikini Top and Gigi Cheeky Bikini Bottoms in Chile. Also the Xena Halter Bikini Top and matching Naomi Tie Side Bikini Bottom in Rum and Profumo.
I love wearing the Lumi Algeria Sarong Wrap Skirt when venturing from the beach to the local tavern as it picks up the pink hues on my favourite Profumo pink bikinis. Kat loves the Camille Halter Mini Dress in Leopard Floral as it matches perfectly with the Rum hue of her bikinis. This collection truly has the perfect pieces to wear whilst sailing across the Cyclades, soaking up the sun in Hydra, Greece or dining at your local tavern in the Mani Peninsula.
Summer is when time stands still and each day rolls into the next. Summer means deep tan lines from days spent exploring hidden beaches, plates of fresh vegetables and seafood, and endless laughs over cool carafes of house wine with those you love most. For us, the best summers are spent by the sea, always.
I am Natalie Lim Suarez. I'm a model based in NYC, as well as the creator of the blog Natalie Off Duty where I share stories of my life and personal style through fashion photography and writing. NatalieOffDuty.com has been live for over thirteen years now. It's where I have transitioned my career from modelling into working with brands on a whole new level creatively, and as myself completely. It's been my form of self-expression and expansion for me. I like to also tie in the performing arts into my work, like singing and dance. Every day, I am creating and I am so grateful for it.
I love evening swims in the ocean in Amagansett. The beaches here are quiet and there is so much green and lush to soak in. I think The Hamptons is best seen on a bicycle.
Lunch at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton. It's such an elegant boutique hotel with an all-white design with pops of color inside. I love sitting out on the porch. The veranda makes you feel at home. Plus, there's a great pool for really hot days!
The Reform Club in Amagansett is so beautiful and where I shot this story! I've spent weekends here and it's the absolute best. It sits on a residential street so it's amazing to just hop on one of the hotel's beach cruisers and explore the little side streets you wouldn't normally drive through. There are hammocks, a huge lawn to lay across in, and a gorgeous rose garden. It's just steps from the main area of restaurants and shopping. It's such a special spot.
With my classic Sommer Swim in the Hamptons, I love to bring an oversized white shirt to toss over my shoulders, a baseball cap, and a cool pair of black goggle sunglasses. It's fun to give my minimal luxe swimwear a little bit of an All-American, preppy style that feels so Hamptons to me. The matching sarongs to my printed suits are also just amazing and the best beach coverup.
The Crow's Nest in Montauk. There's a little beach behind the restaurant, where you can sit and sip your cocktail at sunset time. It's picture perfect with a very elevated and bohemian feel. This place never gets old!
Gurney's Montauk is my favourite place to unwind. Get a massage and take a dip in the indoor pool overlooking the ocean. I also love weekends at Gurney's Montauk! You're right on the beach so you never have to leave the resort.
At the end of the day, I want to feel like the best version of myself and so I make decisions based on that. And I like to have a challenge creatively that allows me to go beyond boundaries and think outside the box. Working with great people is also a must. It's so fulfilling when you have great relationships and a great team. Also, I am all about taking down time to rest and reconnect with just yourself which means putting down your phone and being present. I feel you have to have balance in life to get things done.
I am so grateful to work with my sister Dylana. We have created our own content since day one and continue to evolve and grow. I loved having our Sephora sister's ad campaign run in stores all over the country and even here in Times Square. That was a major pinch-me moment. To grow together personally and professionally has been such a gift. I really love design and have worked on some amazing product partnerships as well, one being my clothing collection at Macy's. It's a retailer where you can also find our fragrance, Natalie Dylana Eau de Parfum. I'm excited about what's to come next!
I'm really inspired by the places I go and I love adapting to my surroundings with style yet completely making it my own.
I am all about a visor and baseball hat. I wear it to the beach, I wear it on my bicycle, and I love it for running errands. It's the best sun protection and adds a cool, down-to-earth feel to any look.
I love an oversize white shirt to throw over a bikini, a straw/leather bag that I will wear everywhere, and a really great SPF.
I am all about mixing and matching! I think with swimwear, you can have fun with it. Mix and match and go for a really simple pair of sunglasses, and classic jewellery. There are no rules with swim. Just wear what you feel most comfortable and free in because that's really what it's all about.
The Lumi Sarong Wrap Skirt is a piece I'll wear by the pool, and also to dinner with a cute kitten heel. It's such a versatile piece. I'd even wrap it as a tube top with a high-waisted linen trouser and belt! I am also so drawn to the Uma Bralette Top and Hana Cheeky Bottom in Rum. The shape is perfect and I love the fit of the bottoms. I would wear it with an oversized shirt, or a navy cardigan around my shoulder on chilly nights.
We are welcoming the beach mini skirt with open arms and bare legs this summer. A modern take on the classic cover-up, a beach skirt matched to your bikini is summer’s ultimate fashion detail to complement your poolside look.
Since debuting on Miu Miu's spring/ summer 2022 catwalk in Paris last year, the mini skirt has caused a frenzy across the fashion scene. Whether it's finished with school girl-inspired pleating, utilitarian design details such as cargo fabric and paper bag waists, or a Y2K-era low-rise cut, the message is clear that mini skirts are in.
Noting the mini skirt’s rise in popularity, it’s no surprise the trend has expanded out of our everyday wardrobe and has officially entered the bikini and resort wear world. Whether you’re wearing a pareo, sarong, or micro version, opt for vibrant colours, sparkling hues, and interesting prints or textures to create a perfect three-piece set for your days spent poolside or at the beach.
“A regressive trend from the past, this summer 2022, we’ll wear our swimsuit - bikini or one-piece, it doesn't matter - matching our beach skirt. An association that the most fashion-savvy have already adopted, starting with Bella Hadid, Matilda Djerf and Lily Aldridge” - Vogue France.
“Among our favourite models of beach skirts, we will remember the psychedelic print by Sommer Swim. Paired with the matching swimsuit for the coolest look - also to be worn off the beach - without ever being kitschy” - Vogue France.
From the unforgettable moment Kendall Jenner posted a snap while on holiday in the Bahamas wearing our Xena Top & Naomi Bottom captioned “Me and this bikini: a love story”, to her most recent post flaunting the same style complemented by accessories from fashion boutique FWRD.
Below we recap our favourite moments Kendall Jenner was spotted in Sommer Swim.
Last year, Kendall established a modern love story with the XENA Halter Top and NAOMI Tie Side Bottom in the Baroque print. Posting a collection of images in various leisurely positions while on vacation, she styled the top as a bandeau and the bottom styled just above her hips.
The lust-worthy set was spotted again on Kendall’s lean body while holidaying in Mexico earlier this year. This time the model opted for the multi-coloured Bahamas print from last season.
More recently Kendall posted a gorgeous series of images flaunting the same style in our sunshine yellow plumage colour-way, complemented by accessories from fashion boutique FWRD.
Kendall was then papped wearing the Uma Bralette Top while out and about in Miami for Art Basel.
We've since spotted her wearing this style numerous times, including on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians'. Below are some of our favourite mirror selfies of Kendall in the Uma Top and Jane Thong Bottom she shared on her Instagram stories.
Kendall spent some time in Italy last summer, during her sun-soaked travels she was spotted wearing the Kaia triangle top and Milla tie-side bikini bottom while boating with friends.
]]>The hot girl summer you’ve been waiting for is finally here! While bikinis are a top priority in our vacation wardrobe, the outfits we’ll be styling them with are just as important. Dressing for the season this year feels effervescent and charismatic with a nod to the early ‘00s. Slinky fits, bare midriffs, sparkles and luminous hues are all wrapped up with a sense of joie de vivre - a feeling we have all been so desperately longing for.
Thanks to the internet’s current It-girls we’re blessed with endless style inspiration for a 2022 summer capsule wardrobe.
Put your best leg forward. Go short with a fun mini dress that will take you from strolling cobblestone streets with a gelato in hand to aperitivo hour with girlfriends, and beyond.
Style the Camille Mini Dress with your most-loved sandals and oversized sunglasses during the day then elevate the mood with heels and layered jewellery for night. Some other styles we love.

“Boxer shorts emerged as a surprising trend from the spring/summer 2022 shows, and now the fashion set is taking their boxers to the beach. Even more than traditional beach cover-ups, the boxer-bralette combo has effortless appeal – it’s the sartorial equivalent of tousled, just got out of bed hair” Vogue UK.

Skin is in, and summer '22 is about the peek-a-book trend, we’re seeing cutesy cutout dresses at Valentino and eye-catching separates at Versace. It was only a matter of time until the cutout trend made its way into swimwear. Look for unique silhouettes, asymmetrical draping, and metal hardware.

If you’ve been keeping up with some of our favourite Victoria’s Secret Angels you may have recently spotted Elsa Hosk wearing a Sommer Swim bikini on her Instagram @hoskelsa.
Elsa is a regular when it comes to sharing her outfits on Instagram. And what’s even better is that she loves wearing a lot of accessible brands. Some of her favourite go-to brands include; Jacquemus, Levis, Reformation, Paris Georgia, The Attico, and Orseund Iris. All you have to do is scroll the infinite outfit inspiration and tap for the brands (because she graciously credits them all). If you’re not already, follow @styleofhoskelsa on Instagram for all of her latest outfit updates and where to find them.
Another reason to follow Elsa is for her globe trotter lifestyle, which comes with the territory of being an OG Victoria’s Secret Angel. Her Instagram is filled with cool shoot locations, vacation inspiration, street style snaps, and interior inspo from her dreamy L.A home.
Elsa wears the Xena Halter Bikini Top available here and the Naomi Brazilian Bikini Bottom available here, both in Profumo Pink.
The Xena is a halter bikini top with an adjustable neck tie that can be worn three ways. As a halter neck, crisscrossed over the chest, or as a bandeau. The Xena Halter Bikini Top has adjustable coverage and is double lined in the Finest quality Italian Xtra Life Lycra.
The Naomi is a Brazilian tie-side bikini bottom featuring versatile string ties and gold hardware finishings. Wear the string ties wrapped around the waist or tied at the side like Elsa.
